Already got my midterm mark back (for personality psychology) and it was pretty damn good. Not as high as I hoped but an A nevertheless. Having high standards is slighlty frustrating sometimes.

Completed Today:
- Studied for a few hours for the midterm tomorrow
- booked a room for the study session
- created activities for said study session
- got an update on my OSAP application
- created a calendar for upcoming due dates for assignments.

Academic life has taken over everything. Social life? Nonexistent.

I really need to stop using livejournal. Scratch that, I need to stop procrastinating.

So, it's nap time to recover from the dreadful early mornings that the school year requires and then more studying. Yay?

Had a midterm today. Went alright. There were a few questions that I pretty much had no idea where they came from. But reading through the course discussion board, I'm 100% sure I got one of the highest marks. It surprises me how many stupid people are actually in university.

I have another exam on thursday (intro to research methods in behavioural sciences) Woo! But during that time and now, I have to create activites for my T.A position, have a meeting to go to, and organize a study group for said T.A class.

Therefore I'll study tomorrow. It's Thanksgiving this weekend, my mom is coming up to visit us, and yes! Real food!

The random flow of thoughts I'm having right now are slighlty amusing, though I do apologize for any incoherence.

I want a cigarette. I have none left. I have no money. =(

I'm disgusted with the abuse of LOL and LMAO that I found in previous posts. I'm extremely ashamed of myself, considering how nowadays chatspeak is one of my greatest pet peeves. But yes, here's another quiz because all the other ones were extremely old and out of date.

It's been a long fucking time since the last post. Like, for real. Simply because I really do have better things to do than write shit here. But now I'm a second-year university student and I'm procrastinating. Thus, this post.

Reading back on the shit is hilarious, and awfully pathetic. Yes, I like to think I have matured in the past year. I've had fucked up times in the past year and good times.
A few interesting experiences include:
- a stalkerish ex-boyfriend who I really really want to cause physical harm to
- a scholarship
- a mentor/T.A job with the university
- dropping old friends and getting new ones
- renting a house for the new school year with my sister and my dog
- visiting my dad (after 11 years) in Palm Springs, California

So yeah, a lot of shit has been going on, and I'll be going through my posts and deleting horribly embarrassing shit that should never have been on here anyways. But to amuse you (myself, really) for now, here's the "soundtrack to my life' ripped from some random facebook shit.

How was your exam today? Mine went quite well actually, considering I didn't study. It would have been nice if she allowed us some more time, but she's a bitter sexually frustrated bag lady, so such a thing would never happen. I am writing to you cause there is a matter of concern that has reached my attention. The matter of your marks. I have heard rumours that you are currently scared about the university of your choice revoking your admittance. I say bullshit. You are passing with flying colours, and if you aren't, there are ways we can manipulate/beg/gain the pity of your various teachers. Have you forgotten your skill at slacking/procrastinating? I hope not. Have you lost your mastermind genius level of intelligence? Hardly likely. Therefore I do not believe there is any immediate cause of concern. You are going to university in a manner of months (with me!), and no one is going to change that.
